So while I agree that teams should get credit for playing out of state teams like they do in football, I cringe at the thought.
9 out of 10 times in football that my PR does not match the LHSAA at the end of the season is because I don't have the same Win/Loss record for OOS teams as the LHSAA does. I have no way to know what record they are using.
So obviously this makes me cringe when I think about PR for baseball. This past week I matched the LHSAA on all schools except schools who played an out of state team. And on some of them I was as many as 7-10 power points off, indicating that the LHSAA's record for those opponents was nowhere near what I had.
So I am asking for your help. Firstly, if you are a coach, shoot me an email or text commish(at)chasefb.com/5O4-71O-5976 if you know how the LHSAA gets the records for these opponents.
Second, I created a page so you know what record I am using at the time each update is made. Unfortunately, I am a pretty busy person as well during baseball because I also Umpire, so these records won't get updated as often as I would like. I will make every effort to at least update them once a week though.
You can find these records by clicking on Out of State either under the School Menu or the District Menu on the Schedule page drop down box.

What I ask is that if you look at a Win/Loss record for a school and you notice that what I have is way off, help me out by providing a better source for that school. (Check the date that I last updated first, if it is 5 days back and the school has played 3 games, then obviously I will be off 3 games) Right now I am using either MaxPreps or ScoreChanger for most schools. But I could already tell that MaxPreps was missing games. ScoreChanger should be the most accurate because this is usually updated for each game played. Not all schools use both sites though. So if you find a better source, shoot me an email or text me.
If you are a hard-charger and want to help keep my OOS records updated, also let me know. (Note: I am not looking for someone to update your own schools records, if you want to keep your schools OOS record updated, just shoot me an email and I will update it.)
