Teams that forfeit games due to any reason should not have any of the forfeited games count toward the 15 game minimum (qualifying them for playoffs).
Maurepas baseball team plays nearly their entire season (26 games out of 29) with an ineligible player, gets caught and drops from a #5 ranking to a #23. They ultimately shift the entire Class B bracket. Their opponent, a #10 seed, doesn't play a true #23 seed. The next round opponent would be vs a #7 seed (vs a #4 seed had they stayed at #5).
The more games they play with an ineligible player the harsher the penalty should be!

Actually they would have been a #6 Seed, but yes, you are 100% correct. Something like if you forfeit more than 5-10 games, then you are not eligible for Post Season.
Forfeiting this many games also has an effect on all the teams they played as well.
There should probably only be 16 teams in the B bracket as well....

Yes, 16 teams in class B or combine Class B & C. Also combine the select schools down to 2 divisions. But that's a whole other topic!
