Who are your favorites as of now? St. Amant (15 straight wins) and Calvary Baptist (13 straight wins) has been tearing it up here lately!

North DeSoto has a great shot of winning another consecutive title! The coach there is the daughter of former Homer football coach Ronny Beard!

I saw that earlier! I read a tweet from one of the Shreveport Times reporter that was at the game:
Calvary’s Brylee Kelley was hit by a pitch but the umps changed the call after Ouachita’s Tim Whitman complained. Whitman then mocked the Calvary coaching staff
Wonder what all that was about...

I bet the Ouachita coach argued that she leaned into the pitch or didn't make an attempt to avoid being hit. That's my guess anyways lol.

Did y'all read about the quarterfinals going away at the state tournaments in the future? Good move?

I agree in 4A, I'll take Pine Prairie in 3A. Many in 2A, and LaSalle in 1A. B&C I'm with you. The only Division I will disagree on is Division V. I think a repeat is going to happen.

Did y'all read about the quarterfinals going away at the state tournaments in the future? Good move? I like it. It means fewer games and less teams at the State Tournament. Better for parking, better for seating, and better for fans that want to watch games in more than one Classification/Division. It will also give schools another chance to host games on their own field. The Motels and Restaurants might not like it but the Baseball Tournament is only a couple of weeks later.

I like those picks except Morgan City wins 4A.
